Lyft - I have received two unfounded "warnings" on improper mask use
Lyft drivers apparently report to the office on passengers' mask use. I have been surprised by the two "warnings" I have received about improper or incorrect mask use.
I am very meticulous about wearing my mask.
I work in the service industry with frequent customer contact. I sometimes have short rides with Lyft. A few times a week, the rides may last half hour.
No driver has ever expressed himself/herself during a ride about mask use violations. The reports come long after the ride is complete and the tip given.
I contacted Lyft on this matter, asking for the name of the driver and the date/time of the ride. I disputed the driver's reports.
I received feedback saying: "We are removing the violation from your record."
What does this mean? Are both "violations" removed?
Only one? If so, which one?
It would have been decent for a customer service representative to contact me in person.
User's recommendation: If you are talking on the phone, or drinking water on a Lyft ride, please let the driver know. Or else, you will be reported for a "mask use violation".
