Verified Reviewer |I sensed wrong pick up instructions to driver, texted him twice to inform. Stayed at wrong pick op place. I was informed I missed ride! Must pay $6.25 tip…WHAT? to someone I have never seen??
Uber has the same issues so what else is there? For now, I will only use either one again only if necessary. I don’t have any other alternative.
I recognized this LYFT error and tried to correct it via texts to the driver twice! He did not respond and stayed there. I am not going to pay his tip. Please rescind the charge and confirm to me.
Do you know that tip means to insure promptness? No ride, no reason to tip! The significance of the price change in the trip charge for the same trip, on the same day but at different times, needs to be reviewed, changed, and made more fair for the rider.
Those prices bring deception to mind. Having talked to many drivers, I know the various circumstances that determine this price variation, but they are still too much in favor of LYFT and Uber!
User's recommendation: Be sure driver has correct pick up and drop off locations. Do not accept a missed ride penalty if it was not your fault

Verified Reviewer |Lyft won't pay for the damage done to my car while I was on their clock
I hated ear while I was driving for Lyft only messed up my bumper not an expensive issue but they're trying to tell me I have a $2,500 deductible that needs to be paid even though I paid more than half of my freaking money that I got from them to their insurance at was an optional we had to pay it and have our own insurance and pay for our own gas and our own car maintenance and on and on and now I have to fix my own car even though I was driving for Lyft at the time!
User's recommendation: Use uber

Verified ReviewerI was a driver that was accused of discriminated others when I was discriminated against & it was proven
I picked up a lady in Enfield, CT from a mental health clinic and dropped her off at the same clinic. As soon as she got into my car, I made sure I had the correct address. Then, she asked about the sticker I had posted:
KEEP YOUR DRIVER HAPPY
NO DOOR SLAMMING
NO SMOKING
NO VAPING
NO ALCOHOL
NO EATING
*** NO VOMITING*
Cleaning fee $100 to $500
She asked me what the $100 was for, and I explained that it's for riders who leave a mess. No other rider wants to be in here if you leave a mess. When she asked what the $500 was for, I told her it was for blood. I would have to get in touch with Lyft, and the car would have to be professionally cleaned.
The lady then accused me of asking her if she was on her period. I assured her I was not asking her anything of the sort. She escalated the situation by communicating threats and threatened to call the police.
As soon as I dropped her off at a battered women's shelter, she reported to Lyft that my car wasn't registered and claimed she feared for her life. However, the police were already involved because she had been making threatening remarks.
Lyft permanently deactivated my account, claiming I had discriminated against her because I knew she was mentally disabled. Regardless, communicated threats automatically involve the police - we are not a taxi. There are no measures in place to protect a driver or prevent a passenger from physically assaulting a driver. Do you really think a driver would discriminate against anyone when there is no protection?
I hate to say this, but there are laws in place concerning picking up strangers. Taking an Uber or Lyft is no different from picking up a stranger. It's not safe for a driver. Passengers can be unpredictable, especially when you, as a driver, have to involve the police during a simple ride. Lyft deactivates drivers because without riders, they don't make money. But now they're losing drivers because the drivers are realizing it's not safe to transport passengers. Taxis need to come back to protect drivers because there is metal and plexiglass in place to safeguard drivers.
- You can leave feedback
- People lie and discriminate drivers
Preferred solution: Lyft and Uber out lawed because it is against the law to pick up a stranger and it is no different than using these apps. Drivers are not safe. There is nothing to protect a driver when you pick up a mentally ill patient.

Verified ReviewerIPhone 13 Pro Max left behind in the employee car driver
It's because my phone was left in the car. I talked to the Lyft driver and he said to give him 20 minutes and he will meet me back at my address where he picked me up from, I was on the bus. I emailed some things in from the text messages that he did.
- Affordable for everyday users
- Bad and very horrible customer service
Preferred solution: I would like to be compensated for my phone or I’m filing a law suit against the driver and Lyft

Verified ReviewerOvercharged
I was charged $91.39 for a Lyft ride today, originally costing me $11.70 because I was only going about six minutes away from my house to the high school in Issaquah, Washington. I was picked up at 12:15 PM, the estimated drop off time was 12:24 PM, and the actual drop off time was 12:25 PM, with a text message confirming the drop off. And yet, at 1:05 PM, I was notified by Cash App that my $11.70 Lyft charge had been changed to $91.39. If you look on the map, it shows that I was picked up and dropped off at the Issaquah high school, yet the route continued to go until the driver got to the SeaTac airport in SeaTac, Washington, saying that he dropped me off at the school, picked me up at 12:15, and dropped me off at 1:02 PM, which is not correct; that's when he got to SeaTac.
Immediately, I disputed it with Cash App, who is telling me that it's going to be 10 to 45 days before they can investigate and maybe refund my money. There's no live customer service for Lyft; it's absolutely ridiculous. Every phone number you call, they have a message and they hang up on you. The support that they have on the app gives you no option to write any comments, and then it decides whether your dispute is legit. So, it tells me that my temporary findings were not okayed to be refunded. According to Lyft, what my dispute claims are not going to be refunded. There's video footage text messages showing the actual drop-off time at 12:25 PM. This is unbelievable and there's no way to contact anybody live for Lyft. I tried clicking other help buttons to be able to talk to somebody. I finally was able to send an email.
I will definitely give you guys a rating of one; I will not ever be using Lyft again. What was so crazy is that my daughter calls me an empath because every time I get these unfortunate feelings, they've always been correct. Something bad has always happened to either me or somebody close to me. I had given her mace this morning when I ordered the Lyft because I saw who was coming to pick her up, and I immediately got a bad feeling about him.
Because of what happened with the charge, I called up the school because my daughter's not responding to me since she’s not allowed to have her phone in class. I was freaking out, crying to the receptionist at her school. They were searching the whole school trying to find her and make sure that she's there and that she was dropped off, and not dead somewhere because that's what it looked like. Then, with her not responding, it was indeed a very scary situation. For these people not to be taken this seriously and not refunding me my money, that driver needs to be fired. He goes by the name of Anderson and drives a gray or silver Hyundai. I can give all the information if anybody wants the license plate number, but my recommendation is don’t use Lyft.
Uber's more expensive, but at this point, I'd say don't use Lyft. This is the third or fourth time I have had an issue with them. I've booked rides and the drivers have canceled and then they still charged me, even though I didn’t cancel, so I had to pay for it twice. It's just ridiculous! I am a single mom already struggling and I definitely can't afford this $91 charge. The way everyone's handling it is just disgusting, Cash App included. I'm so disgusted with their customer service and their support team. I was told it may take 10 to 45 days. I can't wait that long. I'm barely working, I have health issues and I need to pay my bills.
- Cheaper than uber but always issues when it comes to charges
- Always have some sort of negative issue with overcharging and

Verified ReviewerBad driver
I am disabled and ordered a round-trip lift to take me to the gas station. I get to Speedway and the driver left me there then about 10 minutes later I had no choice but to order another lift back home and had to wait 15 minutes and I called to report it and was told by whoever was on the phone that because both transactions And the rides are completed that theres nothing they can do but you know at the end of the day Im disabled that round-trip that I paid for was supposed to cover me getting back home. The fact that I had to order a second ride just to get me from their home and that one ride from there to home was more expensive than the round-trip was and I still had to wait 15 minutes so yeah Im pissed and everybody keeps giving me the runaround and at this point I think I should get the money back for both rides because this is absurd then I got told that theres nothing that they can do I wasnt even in there for very long and he left and clearly when I booked the ride back after only about 10 minutes theyre saying that the first driver completed the ride well clearly he didnt and he lied because I didnt fly back to Speedway OK so it would be nice if they would get their head out of their *** and see the truth because if I wasnt disabled, I would not have had to pay for a lift to go .4 miles I mean, lets be serious here.

Aside of the mix up with the ride being canceled and me not being told this. The overall experience was good I would call again. Another ride was sent quickly
Make sure customer is informed about cancelations because of driver availability. And make sure address is correct
